The invisible holster
I was digging through an old box of stuff (Glock Tupperware boxes, 45lc spent casings, years of "state of the art" cleaning supplies etc...) and came across the invisible holster which was a precursor to the smartcarry holster or Thunderwear just without the patent from about 15 years ago. I stopped wearing it years ago when I got the belt clip for my Kel-Tec P-11 (Gave the P-11 to my old man since he wanted a 9mm and he is well... my dad and its the least I could do for him). I had to make some adjustments since I am 40lbs lighter now, but OMG!!! Today I rode my bike and at work since I repair CNC equipment there is a lot of kneeling, sitting on the floor, carrying heavy parts etc etc and it was comfortable all day. I didn't have to worry about bending over and "printing" in-front of the customer etc (sounds like a feminine product commercial, but I am sure that if I knew how to roller skate I could do it with this holster on). (I don't think Liberal Oregon is ready for open carry) and my weapon is in easy access all of the time. I have tested carrying several firearms in this holster for about a week now, everything ranging from a Glock 19, Full size 1911 and my favorite .357 snub nose with the Pachymar grips with that extra room for your pinky that is great for shooting .357s but prints real bad due to the rubber grips. Other than that I recommend a Supertuck style holster, they are inside the waistband and you can present and re-holster your weapon with one hand which is important and VERY comfortable. But I think the Smartcarry type holster will be my primary summer carry holster. I am pretty confident I can handle a full size Glock 21 comfortably all day with this holster. Its not for everyone, but it works for me. I would take pics, but I don't think that everyone wants to see my Star Trek boxers....
